I have been waiting for a theme like this for about 35 weeks. I have always wanted to try my hand at making a plain backdrop & shooting a product in an ad-like format. Unfortunately, some things happened that prevented me from taking the time to do that so, instead, I used my foster kitten, Billie Jean Mays, to help me out this week.

All three shots were actually taken with the Nikon. The Canon’s “Error 99″ has been occuring so frequently that I am ready to give up on it.

Great pics.
Is the infection in the kitten’s eye going to make him blind??

She may be partially blind in her right eye but the left is clear & she certainly has no trouble getting around. We apply an antibiotic cream to the right one in hopes of clearing it up. Some days it gets a little better, but it probably won’t clear up entirely.
Thank you for stopping by! A new visitor? I am pleasantly shocked
This hurts my heart, conni! She looks so sweet, I hate that her poor eye has an infection! I wonder if they make kitten eye patches…that would be the coolest kitten on the block.
A kitten eye patch. I should do that for her. Make her a pirate. Argh! She gets around jsut fine but I do fear that she may lose that eye. The medicine doesn’t seem to be helping much.
Russ, you would be proud to know she is a Nikon girl. She loves the Nikon strap & flash way more than the Canon.
I’m still having a hard time commenting on this, for reasons you know. I wish her the best.
Ahhh… yes I understand. I will try to avoid those types of photos for at least a little while.
